Well done Helene! I agree with all you say. The point people miss is that you only get out of a relationship what you put into it and it must be worked at like a garden. If you pull up the weeds and lavish care and attention on it you will enjoy the fruits of your labours. If you neglect it you'll just end up with a mess. The same is true of any relationship, friends, parents, siblings etc. You have proved that faithfulness, loyalty, trust and loving kindess produce a happy marriage and a happy home where children can flourish!
