Is it right to alter the body?

Last year Britain spent over 2 billion pounds on cosmetic procedures, but religious teachings seem to rule against altering your natural body. Where’s the harm if it makes you feel better about yourself?

Should we be free to alter our God-given bodies? Is cosmetic surgery a positive modern invention? And is the Jewish tradition of circumcising baby boys barbaric?
