Should creationism be taught in schools?

The numbers of British believers in creationism is on the rise. Should we ban creationism being taught in our schools?


Should creationism and evolution be taught side-by-side in science lessons?  Can children make up their own minds about what to believe?  Or should religion and science be kept separated in the schools' curriculum?
