Faith schools continue to exist for one reason, because children are easier to convince that fairy tales are fact.
This makes me feel glad.
Faith schools should continue to exist simply because it build up an outstanding morals and the christian believes in our young generations of tommorrow and also faithfully remind them of the faith of our fore-fathers.
its also build up an outstanding loving and joyful children that can easily be convinced that all the fairy tales about Jesus Christ are facts.
I will love to encourage all other schools to embrace morals.
we really need to embrace peace, unity and love.Children need to be kind and gentle to oneanother in this our multicultural and religion ethnic diversity. It high time humanity embrace peace and respect eachother and take one another for who we are but always know that its a fool that said in his heart that their is no God.Their is God and the only way to know that God in a true christianity is through the only way the truth and the life in Jesus christ.
Its even high time our educational sectors embrace assembly twice in a week where they will exalt the children with words from psalm and proverbs to build up their wisdom and songs to embrace unity, peace, love and kindness
and Fridays should be for the muslims.god bless.
Thanks
I don't think this is a good example of all Catholic schools at all, i have been educated in a Catholic school, we frequently have had discussions on topics such as abortion and euthanasia, and I have felt under no pressure to follow the catholic teaching. As for Jesus being the only person crucified this is just plain ignorance on the teachers part, it is not important THAT he was crucified, it is WHY that is important.
It reinforced what I already believed.
What a mature young lady. She spoke very eloquently. I 100% agreed with her-ultimately your faith should not matter when it comes to your education.
Yes, unfortunately we're now a multi-cultural society and we have to do all to make society inclusive, such arrangements merely serve those who would wish to be divisive.
Whilst we're at it the Queen should step down as head of the CoE, it isn't right that in a multi-cultural society she should head up one faith.
