We very much enjoyed Arthur Roderick last night 1st September. We hear so much about Richard Dawkin's views; what Mr Roderick said is echoed by thousands of Christians in the UK. This Country is currently in moral chaos, so no-one could say that the loss of Bible teaching has resulted in a happy way of life. The loss of teaching about the God of the Bible has been disastrous. This makes me feel insulted. It reinforced what I already believed.

His opening statement was that a lot of damage is done to children when god is left out of their educational process. The only damage that is done is to religion, an irrational belief in supernatural mythology, because the child learns to think in a rational manner and not accept information merely on authority.

Faith schools should be banned. Religion should not be taught in schools. Christianity has had 2000 years to have a positive impact on the planet and look at the mess we're in.

Catholicism has had a devastating effect on Africa. The lack of contraception in Africa has caused huge problems in Africa and does the Vatican care? No. While Catholics in Africa starve the Vatican has sick levels of riches.

How do religions bring people together? They don't, they divide people into groups who aren't designed to mix.

I'm an atheist, and don't need anyone to tell me how to be a good person and treat others as I'd like to be treated, to love and have compassion. How is that possible without religion in my life? EASY.
hey can do so

If your gods master plan is to put all non believers to the sword, then I dont want to be forced to be like you, nor my children to share your narrow minded, obtuse, patronising and self righteous views. Moral chaos has more to do with lack of respect through parental neglect, laziness and often just the mordern day pressure families face every day in the struggle to make ends meet. There is less a problem of moral chaos in scadinavia who are more athesis and better educated. I'm sure you care about your children and your message is well meaning but countries that have religous schools have divided communities.

Dear Deluded and family,
You don't need a god to gain all the other benefits mentioned.People make good schools.
