Should we be free to express our religion in public?

Across Europe some acts of faith, such as praying on the streets or wearing a face veil, are discouraged and even criminalised. Should religious worship, clothing and symbols be kept private?


Should public service workers be allowed to wear turbans and veils on duty? Is it inspiring to watch people pray in public? Or would a secular Britain be better?
