I bet you have no idea what the trinity is about and that is the only thing which makes Christianity pleasurable. It is easy to believe Jesus is God because he is and this comes through regardless of creationism's assimilation of Jesus Christ. It was and still is a personality cult and so rich in texture not even the crazy creationists have been able to ruin God's work.

What happens when you leave a religion? The Gods and their power over you vanish in a puff of lies.

Good for you. I am persuaded differently about what is true, but I suspect we could have an open and amicable discussion about that without any need to go "daggers drawn".

At least we agree that what is true is the question: not tradition, community or what we would like to be true.

Pod Bhogal

I think someone like yourself who is tolerant, quietly gets on with their life and minds there own business is a better advert for their faith than someone who rants about creation, or offers their own unique Bible inspired take on Evolution.

How refreshing that in today's world we have those strong enough to challenge, seek their own truth and follow their path when others are so eager to push us onto another path - when they have no idea themselves what is right or true for someone else...

But to do that in front of a nation on TV is to be applauded.

Well done Pod.

Full respect to you Pod to standing up for what you believe and getting to know about Jesus and announcing your faith in God in public.

Swapping one set of myths for another. Out of the frying pan and into the... um... frying pan. #4thought

Hello Pod,
You are very brave to question whether there is any other religion which can be meaningful, other than the one you were brought up with. Having lived in different countries aroung the world I can say that we can learn a lot from each other. And strangers are really not that strange!

God bless!

Well done Pod!

Great stuff.

We have similar stories.

well done mate. You are on an open ended journey. I dont like the word persuaded to believe. One chooses to beieve & faith is a gift, Different religions are different pathways of discovery. In an ideal world religions should not be in competiion for top spot

Lee 21 Oct 2012 12:56

God does not exist- regardless of your religion. There is no point in any belief which subscribes to a creator.

Lee 21 Oct 2012 21:40

Angry with God??? How can you be angry with a non-existent being? Latest stats for people's beliefs in the UK - only 16% believe in God - it is a DYING belief - because it is provably WRONG. Just as wrong as the flat Earth.
