How can anyone not agree 100% with Dr Farrah? Whatever one's faith God can only = love. Therefore to kill in the name of God means that those who do so worship not God but Satan. All suicide bombers are Satanists, not martyrs but murderers who do not know God. All who say they will achieve paradise are godless liers!

Asking "where was god..." is just like asking "where was santa on 25/12" because you didn't get what you wanted for christmas. Until we grow out of these bronze age superstitions we will never address the real socio-political causes of this type of violence. Continually blaming "extremists" ignores the fact that the "moderate" majority are the ones providing the environment in which these xenophobic beliefs can flourish-when have you ever heard a muslim say that these murderers are not muslims? Chances are the answer is never, because they know that it's the extremists that are really following the teachings of the qu'ran. They conveniently ignore the fact that all the more accepting, inclusive rules in this 7th century text apply only to other muslims. Non muslims are to be converted, subjugated or killed.

If people knew God they would not ask 'where was God'. such a question suggests you do not know where He resides. knowing Him would help answer that question. Then i would suggest that one asks how can i know God.
