It reinforced what I already believed.

It's so difficult to put into words what it is like to experience the Amazing Grace and Love of God revealed to us through Jesus - but, when we hear the words of this hymn written by John Newton, we have joy in knowing it is a shared experience that is both wonderful and life changing. We hear so many theories and explanations about Christianity and the course it has taken down through the ages, but, without this life changing experience, there is a complete "blindness" to the Grace of God and the Kingdom of God that Jesus speaks of....as the words of the hymn go on so say.... "I once was lost, but now am found, was blind but now I see".
